Fred Stroh and Mark Von Hobe, FZ Juelich Research Center, conducting pre-flight tests on their instrument that measures ClO (chlorine monoxide) using laser induced resonance fluorescence. Data from this instrument provides a quantitative measure of the link between human pollution (release of CFCs, or chlorflourocarbons) and ozone depletion.
